It’s Super Bootcamp day!

Super Bootcamp is our favourite consumer workshop, and the “for families” version is specially designed for parents/carers and teens/young adults to attend together, to build mutual understanding around what super is and how it works, and most importantly, to keep the conversation going at home.

Purely factual information, a lot of behavioural finance, no advice, and lots of fun. Yes, !

The reason we love this workshop most of all is because we get to take something that seems so complex and make it relatable. This session has such a big impact in such a short period of time, building awareness and shifting thinking and beliefs that people often don’t realise they have. There’s great energy in the room and the vibe of confidence when participants leave, and the feedback is always fabulous.

This is THE workshop we wish had existed when super was first introduced.

Can’t wait!

Did you miss our event? You can catch up on the conversation in the podcast here, as well as all the other episodes: https://itsnotaboutthemoneyaus.podbean.com/e/canyouaffordthatcupcake_iwd2024/

On Friday night we officially launched the podcast at the "Can You Afford That Cupcake?" event hosted by Sprout_Ed.

The amazing panellists Aunty Cheryl Penrith, Jessica Horner, Trish Gregory, Gioia Gianniotis, and Dr Rachel Hogg engaged in a critical conversation about economic inclusion: what it is, what prevents it, and what we can do as individuals, a community, and a nation to change the story.

We were also treated to a performance from UNISONg Wagga Women’s Community Choir and an original poem "How to make International Women's Day cupcakes: A recipe for rebellion" by Peita Vincent (Vida).

Keep an eye out for the recording of this event, to be released as our special podcast episode on Friday 8 March.
