🚨 SECURITY ALERT: Watch Out for Fake Bendigo Bank Emails!

Bendigo Bank cybersecurity team have spotted a new phishing scam targeting customers. Scammers are using AI-generated imagery and our branding to make fake emails look highly authentic.

These emails are NOT from Bendigo Bank. Here is what you need to know to keep your accounts safe. 🛡️

🔍 What to Look Out For
Scammers are trying to create a false sense of urgency. The fake emails typically claim that:

💳 Your card has been locked.
👤 Your profile is incomplete.
⚠️ Your account requires urgent reactivation.

They will ask you to click buttons like 'Complete Profile', 'Review Account', or 'Verify Phone Number'. These links lead to fake login pages designed to steal your details.

🛑 Remember: Stop, Think, Protect!

If you receive an unexpected email, please take these steps before doing anything else:

STOP 🛑
Don't be rushed: Scammers want you to panic. Take a breath and think.

Don't click: Never click links or download attachments in unexpected emails or SMS messages.

THINK 🤔
Verify the source: If you're unsure, don't use the links in the message. Navigate to the Bank's official website (bendigobank.com.au) independently.

Ask yourself: Does it make sense for us to ask you to click a link to unlock an account or verify details? (Hint: We won't!)

PROTECT 🔒
Keep details private: Bendigo Bank will never ask for your passwords, PINs, or one-time passcodes.

Report it: Forward any suspicious emails to [email protected] to help the Bank block them.

💡 What to Do If You've Been Targeted
If you spotted the scam: Thank you! Proactive reports from our customers help the Bank take down these malicious sites much faster.

If you entered your details: Don't wait. Contact your local branch immediately or call the Bendigo Bank customer help line directly on 1300 236 344 so we can secure your accounts.

Apparently time flies when you’re having fun… 17 years of it! ♥️

Today we’re celebrating Karen and an incredible 17 years with the bank.

If you’ve been around our branch for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with Karen over the years. She’s become a familiar face to customers and an incredibly important part of our team.

17 years brings a LOT of customers, colleagues, changes, stories and memories, and we’re very lucky Karen has shared them with us.
