From first light to final bale. 🐑

Shearing is more than wool harvest - it’s animal care, pasture improvement, soil improvement, genetics( Hill Padua Polls MPM ), preparation, and years of breeding for quality.

This season’s clip featured:
• Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) accredited wool (ceased mulesing)
• Approximately 89% fleece wool preparation
• Low vegetable matter (VM)
• High yielding fleece
• Excellent staple strength (55-71nkt💪)
• Solid staple length from a 6-month summer/autumn shear

Our 6-month shearing program aims to produce a bright, soft, exceptionally strong & highly consistent clip perfect for high performance processing 🧥

A huge thank you to the team at Shear Craft Shearing “making shearing an art form.”
The professionalism, care, and pride they bring to the shed makes all the difference.

Also grateful to Mallawillup Livestock Services for helping us manage the workload throughout shearing season.

Proud of the people, the dogs, the sheep, and the result.
From the paddock to the wool pack - every detail matters.

Very fun way to demonstrate the versatility of wool as a natural fibre. Fun fact - unlike polyester or nylon, which can take decades to centuries to break down, wool is 100% biodegradable and returns nutrients to the soil in less than 4mths 🐑.
