Following on from the launch of Goldsworthy Private Wealth's new social pages recently, we are so excited to now launch the second half of the project. Kate and her team at Goldsworthy General Insurance Services have just moved into their new online home and we'd love you to jump over to the new page and have a snoop around. We've pre-populated it with plenty of fresh content for your eyeballs to indulge and your clicking fingers to 'like'.

This page will linger round like an awkward party guest for a little while until we decide to turn the lights off and send her home to bed. She might have a few last songs to sing just to make sure you've got the 'new pages' memo, so be kind and indulge her while she does...

MEET THE QUEEN BEE: Greetings!! We’re all a buzz to have you here on the Goldsworthy General Insurance Services page, or GGIS for the bite sized version. Kate Greaves is a third-generation owner in her family’s business.

As Director of GGIS since 2021, she follows in the footsteps of her mother and grandfather who have laid down a strong foundation upon which she intends to lead her hive to thrive.

Kate is dedicated to fostering long term, honest relationships between broker and client, continuing a family legacy of work ethic that has proven itself time and time again for over 6 decades.

We did it!! We hit our $1000 fundraising target. On the 21st of May - Kate, Carly and Lita joined the JoJo Legends team and walked with a sea of blue to support the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

Jo has an incredible attitude despite the cards she's been dealt and it was an absolute honour for to walk with her and her community in the sunshine.

It was also very special to witness the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Queensland receive a HUGE $250K surprise donation from Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk in person and to see how much it meant to their hard working staff and volunteers.

Thank you to our own set of fundraising superstars for helping us achieve our target for Jo - with a special mention to Total Fleet Maintenance for getting us well and truly over the line! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sometimes life 'sucks' - but it sucks just a little less when you are able to give back together.

THANK YOU! We’ve loved seeing you jump across to the 1st of our 2-part launch in the new era of Goldsworthy's social pages. Jen and her team are grateful for the ‘fresh love!’ Keep it comin’!! Make sure you head over to Goldsworthy Private Wealth if you haven’t already to stay in touch – we’ve got a whole bunch of NEW stuff on the boil!
Meanwhile, this page will hang around a little while longer yet as we work towards the 2nd launch in the coming weeks for our ‘sister’ (that's literal) company Goldsworthy General Insurance Services, so you’ll still see a bit of content pop up here from time to time until she officially ‘retires’ from cyberspace.

***NEW PAGE LAUNCH***
We have a fresh Facebook account for Goldsworthy Private Wealth (GPW). Recently Goldsworthy has split its Financial Planning and General Insurance departments into TWO separate businesses which in turn means we are also splitting all the socials, newsletters and websites accordingly.

So this is Part 1 - GPW is the first cab off the rank to launch a new line of social pages. You can join Jen and her team at Goldsworthy Private Wealth by clicking the new page name below and giving it a fresh follow.

Part 2 will see the launch of Goldsworthy General Insurance Services (GGIS) in the weeks to come!

"Long Live The King!" - Ralph's Retirement AND
Our 60th Business Birthday Celebration at Goma Restaurant

We had the most beautiful afternoon celebrating 60 years in business across 3 generations AND formally wishing a Happy Retirement to Ralph Goldsworthy

Even though Katrina Goldsworthy retired in 2010, it was their business partnership together during the 90's that solidified what founder Bill Orr (Katrina's father) and wife Millie, had begun in 1963.

We had the honour of having some special guests join us to help kindly nudge the bar tab along. Thank you to family members, Trevor and Di - Millie Orr's brother and sister-in-law, for sharing stories from the past with the 'young ears' of today along with Katrina's sister Shelly. Also thank you to long term friends and former AMP industry colleagues Russ and Greg, and Greg's wife Kim, for being there as well.

For everything seen and unseen that you've done and inspired. For all the lives you've changed for your clients and for always making time to listen and chat to us, the staff. The success of the business aside, it's your kindness, gentle humour and big heart that is most important. We are all the better for knowing you and we wish you a retirement full of happy memories created with your family and friends.

On 21 May 2023, a group of us at Goldsworthy will be walking in the Walk to D-Feet MND Charity Fundraiser to support the wonderful Jo Boon (JoJo) who is fighting the good fight against MND (Motor Neurone Disease Association of Queensland). Jo has become a good friend of our Director Kate Greaves. She was told she had 6 months to live and is still here almost 4 years later. We want to help increase awareness of the impacts of MND that take a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow and eventually breath.
