When the Social Media Gal stitches herself up with pre booked Team Branding Photos immediately after a MOST EXCELLENT fundraising event, things get a little chaotic in the event 'aftermath'… so welcome to our “better late than never” throwback moment.

Remember that time where we filled the room at Carina Leagues Club with an incredible bunch of generous humans for our Play It Forward Long Lunch — supporting Kate (Goldsworthy) and Lisa (Clear Insurance) in their Dancing CEOs journey for Women's Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ)?

Led with heart and humour by Margaux Parker, Triple M Breakfast, the afternoon delivered equal parts inspiration and important conversation.

Simone O’Brien shared her extraordinary story of survival with a bravery that left the room in stunned silence and absolute admiration. Her message stays with you long after the applause ends and you just want to hug her, immediately.

WLSQ CEO Nadia Bromley followed with the confronting reality of just how needed these services are, while also reminding us how powerful real change can be when people come together to support it. Thank you for your passion, Nadia.

And to finish, AFL icon Harris Andrews and rugby league great Corey Parker spoke about leadership, respect, and the role sport can play in shaping the next generation both on and off the field. Thank you for giving your time so generously.
