Was real real good to feel the heat on the hands again. Home studio almost completed for all types of repairs only. Except full slick or deck replacements in case you’re gunna ask. Quick test run to keep some good mates in the water. No chance of a full blown tee off on making boards yet while we’re in this global financial doom state. Itching to tho. Hey gang, thanks so much for the overwhelming support and positivity from our sneaky post the other day. We’re absolutely stoked to be working towards getting back in the shaping bay ASAP. Just a heads up tho, we are still a little way off throwing the doors back open permanently so if you could hold off on orders, board inquiries and shop hour info for just a wee while longer we promise to keep you all up to date when the new space is complete, some new material has arrived and we’re ready to rock. Again, thanks for all the positive feedback, it was greatly appreciated.

Apologies to all for slipping off the radar recently.
In all honesty I’m getting my arse kicked in most aspects of my life at the moment and I’ve needed to take a few steps back to find my feet and try to get that grounded feeling back.
With Basic I only intended to just take a well earned break but real life took over and I really had to shift all my focus away from not just the bodyboarding world but other key parts as well.
For me, it was the right decision to do as I was well aware life was severely affecting me mentally and physically and having a major influence on my work output. Which totally sucks for you guys as customers.
So what now.....
Well Basic isn’t dead, far from it actually.
We will be back!!
Sooner rather than later too because we got some big things cooking up that we’re itching to get out. Things like new logos as well as some killer products.
I want to thank everyone for your understanding and for all the ongoing support, it really means a hell of a lot to me.
Big love to a few of my really close friends too (you guys know who you are) for the help when I’ve really needed it.
See you in the salt and we’ll be back in the bay before you know it.

A couple for a couple. These 2 are off to Goldy local Jason Shepherd and his wife. For him, 42.5” PP single stringer & mesh. For her, 39.5” PP single stringer & mesh. Both quad channel set up and matching contours & colourways. Not sure what the collective thinks but I reckon it’s a really cool and sweet idea. Thanks Jase, I really appreciate the support.
