There are plenty of things from back in the day we’re glad we’ve left behind:
- Smoke‑filled restaurants and bars, back when anyone could light up anywhere.
- Waiting by the phone for an important call, only to miss it because you stepped away (and painfully slow dial‑up internet… although we do miss that sound).
- Getting lost on a long drive, wrestling with a street directory before eventually giving up and asking at a service station.

But here’s one thing we know you do miss:
