Payday Super is here. From 1 July 2026, employers must have super in their employee's fund within 7 business days of payday. For most businesses that is a change from quarterly to every single pay cycle.
The old quarterly buffer is gone. Wages and super now leave together, and the free ATO Small Business Super Clearing House closed on 1 July.
Year one is the transition year. The ATO has set a low-risk zone for genuine compliance effort in 2026-27, but enforcement steps up from 1 July 2027. The businesses that plan the rhythm now are the ones that stay steady.
If the new rhythm is tight on your cashflow, there are options: adjust pay cycles, build a super buffer, or bridge the transition with a short-term business cashflow loan.
We work with a range of credit situations. Same-day funding is available, subject to lender approval and processing times.
