MORE LAKES ENTRANCE SITES EXPOSED TO CORONAVIRUS
The Victorian DHHS has announced eight new sites in Lakes Entrance have been exposes to COVID after a person with the virus visited them.
These new sites include the summer carnival at the Lakes Entrance footbridge, the Lakes Boat Shed Café, Wyanga Winery and the Lakes Entrance Woolworths.
The person also stood outside the Central Hotel for a short period of time but was not a patron of the hotel.
And its an additional day has been added to the exposure times of a Leongatha fish and chip.
The full list of Lakes Entrance exposure sites:
Albert and Co. Café,Bellevue Hotel, 201 Esplanade, on 29 December from 09:30am-10:45am
Chants Summer Carnival, Footbridge area of Lakes Entrance on 29 December from 7:00pm-9:30pm
Esplanade Resort Lakes Entrance - Pool area,1 Esplanade on 29 December from 3:30pm-04:30pm
Esplanade Resort Lakes Entrance - Hotel bar, on 29 December from 05:30pm-05:50pm
The Esplanade Resort and Spa, 1 Esplanade, on 29 December from 2:30pm-5:50pm
Lakes Boat Shed Café, 54 Marine Parade on 30 December from 9:30am-10:30am
Wyanga Winery, 248 Baades Rd, on December 29 from 1:00pm-2:00pm
If you have visited any of these sites, the Victorian DHHS say:
Victorian DHHS says If you have visited any of the above locations “during the date and time indicated you must get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result.”

Darcey Annas Beach Cafe Kiosk Gift Shop Gallery,426 Main Beach Walk Surf Life Saving on December 30 from 11:15am-11:20am
Central Hotel Lakes Entrance, 321 Esplanade on December 30 from 5:00pm-6:30pm (DHHS says the infected person was outside of the premises at thes times)
Woolworths Lakes Entrance, 371 Esplanade on December 30 from 6:00pm-6:15pm
Victorian DHHS says If you have visited any of the above locations “you should monitor for symptoms - If symptoms develop, immediately get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.”
Lakes Entrance has a pop up testing sites at the Lakes Entrance Aquadome, 43 Palmers Rd., Lakes Entrance. This clinic will be open from 9am January 3.
The Leongatha Coral Fish and Chip Shop, 53 Blair St, Leongatha is also still an exposure site and a new exposure day has been added.
The Covid positive person was working at the fish and chip shop on December 26 from 5:30pm-7:30pm and on December 27 from 4pm-7.30pm.
If you visited this shop Leongatha during the exposure dates and times the Victorian DDHS is saying “you must get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result.”
The Leongatha pop up testing clinic at Leongatha's Gippsland Southern Health Service, 66 Koonwarra Road. Testing will be open from 8.30am-6pm.
