Last year was a tough year for many, and whether it was a pre-emptive measure or necessary, payment pauses may have been put in place.
Lenders have been very particular about how their processes were followed when it comes to whether or not they have recorded the pause against credit files. If yours has been incorrectly recorded, you should act quickly and discuss it with the bank and have it reversed if possible, as it will carry long term implications.
