The Nelson Financial Surfcoast Chargers senior women's and men's teams are pumped for some home court Big V finals this Saturday night at Wurdi Baierr Stadium 🏀🤩

We had a chance to catch up with our women's team head coach, Stef Grayson, this week as she reflected on the season and prepares the team to face off against the Wallan Panthers 🐾

From Stef: This season had everything, from a strong start and finish, to challenging games against D1 and D2 sides, injuries, steep learning curves and everything in between. We are super glad to finish this season in the #1 spot, the girls put in a lot of work week after week and really dug deep. But (hopefully) the job isn't done yet! This week we take on Wallan who are a very strong side, they always push us for 40 minutes, both this season and last season. We are excited to play them on Saturday as hopefully with a home crowd we can get this one done. We will look to just go out there and do our thing, support each other on court and on the bench, play the game we love and have fun doing it. There are 12 players named in our squad for this game, and we will be relying on each player 110% to play their role, work together and get loud!!

Let's help our Chargers get loud and get down to Wurdi this Saturday night to cheer them on🥳🥳
