🤔 Have you heard of F.NIRS & Faecal Phosphorus Testing??

🤔 What is it?

🟢F.NIRS is Faecal Near Infrared Reflective diet quality test.
The F.NIRS predictors developed in northern Australian feeding studies include dietary crude protein%, digestibility (DMD)%, metabolisable energy, and faecal ash%. Ash measurement assists in quality control. Ash consists of inorganic material and will be elevated if dirt contaminates the dung sample.

🟢Faecal Phosphorus analysis is provided by ICP-AES analysis of a dung sample
Faecal Phosphorus concentration is measured in a separate wet chemistry test. Faecal phosphorus is proportional to dietary phosphorus, thus the 'Faecal P' measure is an indicator of dietary deficiency.

The image below is preparing our first sample to be tested. Not only is this client wanting to look at their animals diet quality, we have also carried out a WEC check whilst we are going. 👌

💥 NEW YARDS 💥

A few weeks back, Renee was out n about checking on a new 80hd yard set up, supplied entirely by the great team at Beef Boss Livestock Equipment and delivered by the team in green!

The yard included a Mulga Cattle Crush as well as a 3m Timber floor loading ramp. A great set up with easy operation.

A need, a solution and all landed in the time frame requested!
