Inspired by Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, Jen’s richly textured paintings capture joyful moments, people at play and memories to be cherished.

💛 Meet Meredith, our new Tewantin-Noosa Branch Manager!

Meredith has been part of our three local Bendigo Bank branches for more than 9 years. After spending time at Cooroy and Marcoola, she’s excited to return to the community where she grew up and lead the Tewantin-Noosa team.

We asked Meredith a few questions to help you get to know her:

☕ Your afternoon pick-me-up?
An iced latte—perfect for a little boost at 3pm!

🏎️ What sport do you love to cheer on?
Motor racing, especially when my partner is racing.

🧱 Something people might not know about you?
I’m a massive LEGO fan and am building quite the collection.

🏝️ One thing you’d take to a deserted island?
My mobile phone—so I could call 000 once I’d had enough!

💛 Why is community banking important to you?
“I grew up in Tewantin, so I’m excited to return home and make a difference in my local community. I’m passionate about customer service and continuing the community-minded approach Bendigo Bank is known for. I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting our local groups, clubs and organisations to see how we can work together.”

🌸 New exhibition at Bendigo Bank Marcoola 🌸

Step into spring with a beautiful collection of mixed-media paintings by local artist Louise Lehtonen of .

Blending sheet music, literature, decorative papers, colour and texture, Louise’s works explore flowers, animals and treasured memories associated with the season. Each piece brings a little order to the chaos and celebrates the beauty found in nature and imagined places.

The exhibition is on display at our Marcoola branch until Thursday 12 November. Pop in for a look and say hello to our friendly Marcoola team while you’re there!

The community has spoken! Congratulations to Kathy Gallagher, winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Pomona Railway Station Gallery’s Local Emerging Artist Prize for her stunning pastel, The Blue Umbrella. 💙

Presenting the prize was a new face you’ll be seeing around Cooroy—our Bendigo Bank Branch Manager, Sebastiaan. We’ll give him a proper introduction on our socials very soon!

Kathy Gallagher (centre), winner of the People's Choice Award section of the Gallery's Local Emerging Artist Prize, with her pastel painting, The Blue Umbrella, received her prizes today.
Sebastiaan van Heuckelum, Branch Manager of Bendigo Bank, Cooroy, presented Kathy with a $500 cheque and Sophy Yena, owner of the Tewantin Newsagency - Office Choice, presented a $300 voucher for art supplies.
Kathy's impressionist style painting won the hearts and minds of hundreds of people who visited the Local Emerging Artist Prize exhibition, part of the Gallery's 25th Anniversary celebrations this year.

The Bendigo Rescue vessel helps Coast Guard Noosa’s/Marine Rescue Noosa dedicated volunteers respond when people are in trouble on our local waterways. 💛

It is one of the many practical and lasting outcomes supported through the more than $6 million Bendigo Bank Tewantin-Noosa, Cooroy and Marcoola have contributed locally since 2003.
