We had a fantastic time at this year's Christmas party, showcasing our barefoot lawn bowling skills. Each team demonstrated impressive line and length, but the Toe-riffic Bowlers ultimately took the crown!

Reflecting on the year, our team's dedication and precision have shone through, both on the green and in our daily endeavours.

As we approach 2025, we're eager to build upon the momentum we've established. Here's to continued success and camaraderie in the new year!

Throughout this week but especially today, our team were reminded that R U OK? Day is not just about cupcakes, wearing yellow and fun team events.

It is a day to highlight the important topic of su***de prevention, and the invaluable gesture of asking our colleagues, friends and family R U OK?, to start a meaningful conversation, not just today, but any day.

A team that badminton's together, stays together.

We were so excited to see our team waving the Sovereign Private flag at an impromptu badminton catch-up over the weekend.

Even during busy season, we are proud to see our team making it a priority to move their body, be social and get the endorphins flowing, with a healthy dose of competition added in.

Our Team at Sovereign Private are so culturally diverse, so Harmony Week is the perfect opportunity to come together to share and celebrate our amazing mix of cultures.

We celebrated the occasion by sampling dishes full of colour and flavours from many different countries, from Singapore and Taiwan, to Hungary, Thailand, Vietnam, Wales, Greece, Italy, Indonesia and Jewish culture. We of course had some Australian lamingtons thrown into the mix also!

Thank you to the team for sharing their dishes with us, it was such a treat to be able to hear stories about the heritage of each dish and get an insight into each culture that makes up our amazing Team.

This week our Sovereign Private Team stood up to cancer whilst sitting down.

Did you know that more blood donations go to people with cancer than anyone else? In fact, 34% of donated red cells go to people with cancer and blood diseases.

We donated blood with the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood and Cancer Council, in support of World Cancer Month. It was fantastic to see so many of our team take a stand to tackle cancer together.

As a little momento we all got our daffodil bandage designed by Beci Orpin and proudly wore it to support people living with cancer.

Thank you to the amazing team at the Lifeblood Kent Street Donor Centre for having us, we look forward to visiting again soon.

Last week, not only did we learn some new BBQ and cooking skills just in time for the holidays, we enjoyed some delicious food and celebrated the hard work and success that the team has achieved throughout 2023.

Last week we hosted our second Lunch and Learn session, where we had the opportunity to discuss some of the things to be aware of in the current economic environment, with finance managers and directors within the recruitment industry.

From director’s statutory obligations and ATO payment arrangements, to the importance of SGC statements, we provided a range of tips and insights to help our clients in the current environment.

We thrive on ensuring our clients get the best outcomes for their businesses and look forward to future sessions to continue to share our wealth of knowledge and expertise with their finance team representatives.
