As humans, we are hard-wired to avoid discomfort. We stop ourselves from checking our bank accounts when we have overspent, we avoid difficult conversations that we don't want to have, and more problematically, we delay booking that doctor's appointment, to avoid receiving bad news about our health.
Don't bury your head in the sand anymore!
As the year comes to an end, it’s a great time to reflect on your financial journey. Did you reach the goals you set out at the beginning of the year? Are you still on track for the future you envision?
Here are a few key questions I encourage my clients to consider as we wrap up 2024:
💰 Did You Reach Your Targets? – Whether it’s saving, investing, or reducing debt, tracking your progress helps highlight what’s working and what needs refining.
🔍 What’s Worked Well? – Take a moment to celebrate your wins! Understanding which strategies worked allows you to carry them into the new year with confidence.
🛠️ What Needs Adjustment? – No plan is perfect. Identifying areas that need refining helps you make focused changes to stay on track for your long-term goals.
📈 Are You Moving Closer to Your Big Picture Goals? – A quick check on your financial habits now can help set the stage for next year.
An end-of-year review isn’t just about numbers—it’s about gaining clarity, celebrating progress, and making thoughtful adjustments to start 2025 strong.
If you’re looking for guidance through this process, I’m here to help. Let’s make 2025 your best financial year yet!
