I’m so excited to be starting my NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) course today and by Saturday, I’ll be certified (some will say I’m already certifiable! 😂).

I’m doing this to make myself a better Mum, person, friend, coach and buyer’s agent. The more I breakthrough, the more I can help all my clients and loved ones understand their true needs, goals, desires and more importantly how to get there.

On to Valentine’s Day ♥️, this morning I’ve heard and seen the media wishing all couples a happy day but what about us singles?

How are you celebrating?

Are you throwing yourself into some self-love?

Are you buying yourself and your single friends flowers? Ging to dinner? Giving yourself and others a huge hug? Dancing like crazy? Bubble baths? Cooking awesome food? Drinking French champagne?

Self-love is the sexiest love of all so I give you permission to totally spoil and indulge yourself. GO HARD!

Contracts are exchanged! The second off-plan property I've bought in my 17-years as a buyer's agent (yes, it was very special).

Now, where to take my beautiful, 30 something client for a special celebrity dinner in Sydney CBD or thereabouts?

Since September, I’ve been a FIRE WALKER 🔥 🔥. I was inaugurated into the very prestigious (and somewhat mad) club when I did the Tony Robins Unleash The Power Within – pushing myself to walk across red hot coals made me feel invincible 💪🏻.

Now I’m in beautiful Tasmania doing the Tony Robins Business Mastery. Hanging out with likeminded property professionals and coaches while learning to 10 times my business, from the best mentors in the world, is one hell of a way to start 2024. And did I mention we’re on US time? Starting at 2am is just adding to the bonding, laughter and learning.

Can you believe it’s the second week of January, which is the danger spot for most New Year’s resolutions?

This week many of us will watch those new daily habits, which we KNOW are a must for a brighter future, predictably fade away. As we quietly slink back to our old ways, we’ll hope for a few lucky breaks.

As you can see, I’m all for inducing a tonne of lucky breaks; this time by rubbing the ball, under the majestic paw of the Lion Dog (or Foo/Fu Dog), in the Summer Palace in Beijing.

But luck only really kicks in when opportunity meets consistent effort and work.

How are you going to consistently work towards your 2024 goals?

How are you going to ensure you do all the necessary little things, so that the structure is there to attract your new AND ideal clients? Or your perfect property?

As 2023 begins to say its last farewells and I celebrate my birthday, (just saying!) I felt it was time to look back at all the fabulous milestones as well as a few hiccups that came my way this year. All in all? It’s been pretty awesome 🤩.

🎉This New Year’s Eve, my year will close with a group of amazing friends, the beach, great food, lovely champagne and board games - what else could I ask for? HOW WILL YOU be celebrating the close of 2023 and the new beginnings of 2024?

💥What will 2024 bring? I just can’t wait to find out!

As 2023 begins to say its last farewells and I celebrate my birthday, (just saying!) I feel it’s time to look back at all the fabulous milestones as well as a few hiccups that came my way this year…

🙏 Thank you to my old (young at heart!) soul clan. The fun, the learnings, the support, the laughter and the tears. Sadly, I said goodbye to one awesome friend and from now on, much of what I will do will be for him and the others lost along the way, because they can’t. HOW WILL YOU stay connected to your soul clan in 2024? Think of three things NOW and make them happen.

🙏 Woohoo to my new soul clan. It would seem you’re never too old to make new BFFs. I know the people I’ve met this year will be with me until the end of time. Their depth, spirituality, humour and general awesomeness blows me away. HOW ARE YOU going to find your new or additional clan this year?

🙏 Devastating at the time, but thank you to my old clan for walking away and making room for the new. I would rather miss them than change my boundaries to accommodate them. WHO WILL YOU see less of this year so that you can continue to blossom and grow?

🙏 Loved throwing myself ever deeper into improving my own mindset while continuing to fine tune my coaching skills for my clients. NEVER stop learning. WHAT WILL YOU study and learn this year?

🙏 Then I boldly invested money to grow my brain and business when it would have been easy to say “I can’t afford that” and in the same breath say “let’s go on holiday”. HOW ARE YOU going to prioritise and invest in yourself in 2024? It’ll be the best and most invigorating money you’ll ever spend!

🙏 Thank you to the dark nights of the soul that lasted for nearly 2-months but made me stronger. “Have I done the right thing? Am I on the right path? Why are things not working out as I’d planned?” WHAT STRATEGIES AND WHO DO YOU have in place for when your doubts kick in with a vengeance?

🙏 I continued to coach beautiful buyer’s agents and loved seeing their results as they did (and do) the work, grow and kick some serious goals into oblivion. HOW ARE YOU going to reach your goals in 2024? Again, give me your first three steps below…

🙏 Family! My son went over and above to impress me this year. Also, my nephew visited from Wales and the three of us had a wonderful trip together full of beaches and kangaroos! Other family members, I didn’t speak to so much. Who nurtures and who diminishes you? WHICH FAMILY MEMBERS WILL YOU focus more on and which will you focus less on?

🙏 I’m grateful for my new chilled beach life. I’m loving the pace, the nature and the cold ocean dips - brrrr but yay! HOW ARE YOU going to push yourself in 2024?

Heads up! As 2023 inches to a close, I truly believe that we’re in as much of a property down cycle as Australia tends to have but that things are going to quickly change next year. 🙌

Sure, some economists are forecasting another rate rise in February but then they expect the Reserve Bank to start cutting rates later in the year. On the back of that, there are some pretty smart property people saying that the first half of 2024 will be shopping time but that the second half will see prices go up again. 🏡

As Tim Lawless, CoreLogic research director said, “I think buyers will have a six-month window, if you will, in the first half of 2024 and once we see interest rates come down or even just the expectation that interest rates will come down, we should expect a rise in purchasing activity”.

So, if you’re ready to go, don’t dally, buy that property and make 2024 your year! 🥳

Tis that time of year folks!

This year, with all the uncertainties and changes that have rolled our way, for most of us, it's our homes that have allowed us to find our cozy spots and safely plan our futures - they tend to be our cherished spaces that bring a bedrock of love, security, and awesome memories.

The beauty of any home's facade is far outweighed by the intangible sense of comfort and joy that a private bout of laughter, as well as those milestones, bring to all of us.

May your home always be your haven and "cheers" 🥂 to your future - may it be filled with more warmth, more opportunities, more love and more stories.
