My 8th Day

My 8th Day The 8th day concept came from a call for the villagers to have a day to rise up and be sustainable.

My 8TH day is a company that designs, trains, produces & market products from "Lubi" (coco plants), recycled materials from "basura" (wastes) and other indigenous materials from the Philippines. The company started in 2005 from the relocation village of Kabugwason - which means "Bright Morning Star" in the Province of Negros, City of Bacolod, Philippines. The Kabugwason village was a result of thr

ee barangays originally located at the back of the Provincial Capitol and were relocated to accommodate the organic program of the province. With the predominant aim of helping the displaced families in the Kabugwason village, My 8th Day’s vision is to set a trend from the very start, creating new skills and producing sustainable, high-quality products at an affordable price through a Livehood Program in the community. With a broad consumer base in mind starting from the local market and eventually capturing the international market through Fair Trading and on-line marketing, in every new product that we will produce, the company success is apparent.
