Spring has sprung

Yellow paddocks, field day conversations and dairy industry connections. Spring is only a few days old, but it’s already been a busy start to the season.

In NSW, Olivia and Craig have been enjoying the canola in bloom. In WA, Janelle has been catching up with farmers at the Newdegate Machinery Field Days , while in Victoria, Jesse and Jacob have been connecting with dairy producers and industry partners at the South Gippsland Dairy & Farming Expo .

Here's a snapshot of where the first few days of spring have taken our team so far.

From field days and expos to ram sales, bull sales and industry events across the country, August kept our team on the road.

And somewhere in between, we swapped boots for dress shoes as Achmea Farm Insurance celebrated being named a finalist in the Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

We took a 1969 Dodge Utility to AgQuip.

Turns out plenty of people had a story about an old ute, a rebuild project or a machine they wish they'd never sold.

Between those conversations and plenty more about farming, risks, seasonal conditions, it was a great three days in Gunnedah.

Thanks to the AgQuip organisers and everyone who stopped by to chat with Laurence, Debby and Alex.
