What can hosting a workshop offer YOUR community?

In order to know how to make great financial choices, you need the resources to learn!

Our workshops develop a sense of community amongst women in similar positions, and from all walks of life.

We provide women with opportunities to break stigmas around discussing common financial adversities, help them understand financial literacy to improve financial habits and create a bond amongst women who all share the same objective - wanting to flourish a healthy financial future for themselves.

Putting a little extra into my super fund now could have a double-whammy multiplier effect on my retirement balance.

Studies show only 52% of Australian women understand basic financial literacy concepts. At The Money Project, we’re here to turn those statistics around.

The multi-faceted essence of being a modern woman can take its toll on finances, and we can attest to this first-hand! It’s our mission at The Money Project to help women gain financial confidence and instill a sense of security around finances.

Research shows that there is STILL a significant gender gap between the genders. Currently, Australia’s national pay gap is at 14.2%. This means, women earn on average $261.50 per week less than men. The pay gap has a compounding effect on many facets of a woman’s life. Women are more likely to retire in poverty, more likely to spend more of their lives working and less likely to progress in their career as far as men do.

Our financial education program works to close this gap and successfully educate and empower women to make the best financial choices so they can take better control of THEIR own lives.

Whether you’re ready to learn to invest your hard-earned money or simply pick up a few budgeting tips and tricks, we’ve got you covered.

The Money Project is a not-for-profit, home-grown Australian organisation that is woman-owned, operated and empowered 💁‍♀️

Our mission is to enlighten the next generation of women and young people to be financially independent. We run workshops and events that welcome all people, regardless of background, sexuality or gender identity on how to better manage their finances.

What our workshops provide to individuals that are most in need of financial education, are the essential, basic skill-sets and frameworks needed to navigate through their finances.

We orchestrate the discovery of self-empowerment and the new-found capabilities that set our participants up for long-term success and sustainable financial health.
