According to the Reserve Bank of Australia’s Financial Stability Review, non-banks have seen a rapid rise in business credit over the last year to reach 25% growth on a six-month annualised basis in early 2023 – which is the fastest rate of growth in more than a decade. Grow Finance expects this growth trajectory to continue as SMEs increasingly turn to brokers for alternative commercial finance solutions to offset the banks tightening credit lending requirements.
