Did you know that a 2020 survey of more than 1,500 Australians conducted by KPMG reported that two-thirds of financial advice customers would prefer to keep their interactions wholly online?

With four out of five of all respondents preferring digital financial services across the board.

This stronger drive for practices to have technology at the centre of their client experience has also shifted their ideas about the role of their licensee in providing solutions.

Our licensee firms recently sat in on an educational masterclass with our technical team. We run these sessions regularly, as part of the technical support we provide to our member firms.

But as we approach EOFY, this one was designed to highlight what needs to be addressed now and what will change from 1 July.

The technical team had some tips they left the advisers with:

1️⃣ A brave new contribution world will apply from 1 July 2022
2️⃣ Clients aged between 67 and 75 will have new super opportunities
3️⃣ Understand the timeframes and age restrictions in force
4️⃣ It's not too late to adopt EOFY super strategies - just remember the pre and post 1 July 2022 rules
