Who has the bigger SMSF balance — men or women? The numbers might surprise you…
According to the latest stats:
💚 Women in SMSFs have an average balance of $842,000
🔵 Men in SMSFs average $973,000
And SMSFs themselves are almost evenly split:
✔ 47% female members
✔ 53% male members
✔ 1.1 million total members
What does this tell us?
👉 Both men and women are using SMSFs to build serious long‑term wealth
👉 The balance gap still exists — but it’s smaller than in many other areas of finance
