One prompt line that makes AI answers clearer: ASD-STE100.

Andrej Karpathy posted it recently. It's Simplified Technical English, a writing standard from the aerospace industry: short sentences, consistent terminology, less ambiguity. Put it after an AI answer that's got a lot of information in it and it formats it so much better, still technical, not dumbed down.

Your clever product name might be getting zero searches. You might call them "purple people eaters' favourite earrings", but shoppers type "purple amethyst earrings". Use their words, then check keyword difficulty: 100 out of 100 means big companies with around 1,000 backlinks per page own that term; the closer to zero, the fewer strong pages you're up against. A lot of people are going to miss what AI is really for. Most people want a quick snack from AI: type a prompt, get a result, make a cool-looking tool or web page and move on. What they miss is how much inefficient work we do, and how many things we never do at all because they'd cost too much. Tools like Jev make that work affordable.

The trick I keep seeing: Claude is the boss, Jev is the minion. The trick I keep seeing: people use Claude as the boss and Jev as its minion. Save the Jev API key in a .env file, tell Claude what you want to do and ask how it can use Jev. Claude works out the repetitive, high-token jobs, passes them to Jev, then processes the results.

114 million tokens. About four US dollars. This is my real TypeSafe usage dashboard: 34 million tokens one day, 28 million the next, about 114 million in total, and it cost me roughly four US dollars. A million tokens used to cost serious money on the bigger models. The catch: Jev only does certain things, so you drive it for what it's good at.

Jev isn't a thinker. It's a sorter. Jev from TypeSafe isn't a chatbot. It's a sorter: give it every email and it decides urgent customer, newsletter, bill, spam or personal, and that's all it does. Sending 2,000 emails through ChatGPT or Claude burns a mountain of tokens; a decision model like Jev does the sorting for a fraction of the cost.

Can AI actually build a real website? I had to find out for myself 👇

I took a completely blank WordPress site, connected it to OpenAI's Codex using the free Novamira plugin, and asked it to build a full Divi website from scratch.

The first attempt was honestly a bit of a mess — it crammed the whole site into one giant block of code 🫠 But after a few rounds of feedback, it rebuilt everything properly: separate sections, a working contact form, images, SEO settings, and even a global header and footer.

It's a warts-and-all look at where these AI tools genuinely impress, and where you still have to guide them carefully. The end result was better than I expected.

🔧 All I used: the free Novamira plugin, OpenAI Codex, Divi, WS Form and Yoast SEO plugin.

It is the perfect time to start using Claude.

They have a promotion on that gives you twice as much usage in the off peak times.

And depending on where you are, that could mean in Sydney, all day is off peak from 6:00am till midnight.

You can see on these different time zones, London is 7pm till 1pm all weekends are off peak as well.

It applies to the free, the pro, the max, the teams plans, works for Claude, Web desktop, Cowork, Claude code Claude for Excel, Claude for PowerPoint.
