May 2026 saw the AVARI Capital Partners 1st Mortgage Real Estate Fund deliver another consistently strong performance.

The Fund paid investors a net distribution of 0.8192 cents per unit for the month, with total annualised return of 10.65% since inception. The loan portfolio has achieved this rate of return whilst maintaining an LVR of 57.39%.

We’re pleased to welcome Ash Kitchen and Gary Louis to the team, expanding our on-the-ground capability across further key Australian markets.

Gary, based in Perth, will manage AVARI’s origination efforts in both WA and SA, bringing more than 25 years’ experience across commercial real estate, private capital and strategic advisory, most recently leading NAB’s WA/SA Commercial Real Estate lending portfolio.

Ash joins AVARI in QLD, with experience across property & corporate finance and banking, including roles with Bank of New Zealand and Macquarie Group to deliver strong lending and relationship expertise.

In April, AVARI's 1st Mortgage Real Estate Fund paid a net distribution of 0.7903 cents per unit for the month. This sees the portfolio delivering a 10.65% annual return since inception in 2021 and a weighted average LVR of 57.51% (excluding cash).
