A morning well spent with the Metro team! ☕🎉

Our monthly morning tea brought everyone together to catch up, hear the latest company updates, enjoy some delicious food and, of course, celebrate our September birthdays. 🎂

Happy birthday to all our September team members!

💛 A few kind words can go a long way.

Today, our team celebrated R U OK? Day by sharing messages of appreciation, gratitude and recognition on Metro's Appreciation Wall.

A simple reminder that checking in, saying thanks and looking out for one another can make all the difference.

ADA 2026 is underway, and the Metro Finance Dealer team is on the ground.

Dane Drayton, Robert Foster & Wayne Gibson are at the Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA) Convention & Expo over the next two days meeting industry leaders, talking dealer finance and sharing what's coming as Metro prepares to enter the dealer space.

And while you're there, have a crack at our putting challenge. Sink the putt and score some Metro merch. Beat Dane Drayton's best effort and you'll earn some serious bragging rights too.

See you there.

Great to be part of Driva's Spark 27 Event as a proud sponsor, alongside some fantastic conversations and fresh perspectives from across the industry.

One insight that really stuck with us came from a former McLaren F1 Performance Coach Kim K.:

Performance starts with mindset.

Whether you're in Formula 1, finance or business, success rarely comes from one big moment. It's the result of consistent habits, continual improvement and how you respond when things don't go to plan.

A reminder that the biggest competitive advantage often isn't technology or process, it's the mindset behind it.

Last week, our team had another opportunity to spend the day at Our Big Kitchen in Bondi, playing a small part in something meaningful alongside an incredible group of volunteers.

Every company and every individual should experience a day like this at least once. It's inspiring, humbling, and a powerful reminder of the importance of community.

A huge thank you to everyone at Our Big Kitchen and to everyone involved in making the day possible.

One final question remains: should hair nets become part of the Metro uniform, or do we all agree they're best left in the kitchen? 🤔👩‍🍳

Events like NSW Broker Engagement Forum, hosted by Viking Asset Solutions are valuable because they give us the opportunity to hear directly from brokers about what's working, what's changing, and where support is needed most. There's no substitute for hearing firsthand what's helping brokers succeed.

Thanks to the team for bringing the industry together, and to everyone who shared their insights with Amanda Mowbray and Justin Gilbert.

(And yes, the Metro socks and hats were popular too.)
