Raises money to support the care of the ederly in our Ryde S.Antonio Da Padova Nursing Home.

Viva S. Giuseppe!

Buon Omastico a tutti che porta il suo nome.

Anche a Sydney, in Australia, celebriamo con gioia l'altare di San Giuseppe, una luminosa continuazione delle tradizioni dei nostri antenati di Poggioreale, Trapani, che ci uniscono nella fede e nella cultura. Decoriamo l'altare con pane, dolci e prodotti della terra, rievocando con devozione la componente religiosa con Maria, Gesù Bambino e i santi e, cosa ancora più significativa, lo squartucciato, una deliziosa specialità di Poggioreale a base di fichi e pasta sfoglia decorata con simboli religiosi che ci ricordano le radici della nostra storia. Dopo la benedizione dell'altare, tutti i presenti si riuniscono per gustare la tradizionale pasta al sugo e fi*****io con mollica e le prelibatezze dell'altare, uniti nella condivisione di un patrimonio culturale unico.

Dear S.Antontio Members Sydney,

I regret to inform you that the Members’ Christmas Lunch scheduled for 7 December has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.

We understand that many were looking forward to the event, and we share your disappointment. Please rest assured that we will begin working on arranging a lunch in the new year, and we hope to celebrate together at that time.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause, and we wish all our members a safe and merry Christmas.

We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year. As always, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Today was a happy and proud day.
A long held vision and now realised, some of our residents had their first outing in our new bus.
All present enjoyed the tranquil garden , exotic birds , animals and treated to lunch at the Signorelli Sky Harvest Garden.
A huge thank you to all who contributed to the Association’s fund raising efforts to purchase the S. Antonio Bus and to
Paul Signorelli and family
for their kind hospitality.
