This International Women’s Day we reflect on the theme “Balance the Scale.”

As Simone Clarke from UN women Australia shared, it is “a promise for every woman and girl to be safe, heard, and free to shape her own future.”

Estate planning is more than finances, it’s about autonomy, security and ensuring your wishes are respected. Yet many women still face barriers when it comes to planning for their future.

Today we reflect on how estate planning can become more accessible and empowering for women, because everybody deserves the ability to shape their legacy.

Most people think Estate Planning is only for the wealthy or the elderly.
But it’s really about caring for yourself, your family, and your future.

Yes, it includes the legal side, like a Will or Power of Attorney.
But it’s also about capturing your wishes, values and the stories you want remembered.

That’s why we wrote our latest blog: What’s the Point of a Will & Estate Plan?
It explains the purpose and how we are here to do things a little differently.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you need an Estate Plan, this is a good place to start.

Read the blog and share it with family if you think it could help. https://www.aditiwills.au/purpose-of-estate-planning

An Estate Plan is more than just legal documents, it’s a way to protect your values, your loved ones, and your legacy. It includes a Will, Power of Attorney, health directives, and more personal elements like funeral wishes and life reflections. It’s not just about wealth, it’s about care and ...

Ever gone looking for an important document… and realised you have no idea where it is?

Passport. Insurance. Super fund details. Will.

We call it the “where did I put that?” problem and it’s one of the biggest headaches in life admin.

Estate Planning isn’t just about having the right documents.

It’s about knowing they’re up to date, easy to find, and easy for the right people to access when it matters.

We help you get everything in one place so you can stop digging through drawers and start feeling sorted.

We get it, Estate Planning has a reputation.

It feels hard, too formal, or just something you “should do eventually.”

But it should feel more like a good conversation than a legal appointment.

That’s why at Aditi, we:
- Talk like real people (no scary jargon)
- Make it flexible and affordable
- Explain everything properly, step by step
- Actually care about what matters to you

This isn’t just paperwork. It’s your family, your wishes, your peace of mind.
And we treat it that way.

If you’ve been putting it off, we’re here to help you get sorted, calmly and clearly.

“I did mine years ago… but honestly, I don’t even remember what it says.”

We hear this all the time.

And it makes sense with all the way life changes. Kids grow up, relationships shift, homes get bought, and businesses are built.

The problem is, the plan doesn’t change with it.

Estate Planning isn’t a one-and-done job. It’s something that should grow with you. We help people revisit, update, and make sense of their plans.

No confusion. No judgement. Just clear steps forward.

If it’s been a while, it might be time for a fresh look.

We talk about everything else, school dramas, property prices, footy scores. But when it comes to Wills and Estate Planning, silence.

It can feel awkward, but the truth is, these chats bring families closer. They help avoid confusion, stress, and those messy “I wish we’d talked about it” moments.

Whether it’s with your partner, parents, or kids, it’s never too early to start the conversation.

Have you had the chat?

As Estate Planners, we are constantly reminded of just how powerful a good conversation can be.

As you probably know, Estate Planning often gets a bad rap, people thinking it's morbid or awkward. But honestly, it can bring us closer.
A couple with two young kids came in recently wanting to get their Wills and Estate Plan sorted. Pretty standard stuff at first, us getting to know them, their story and their intentions. As we dived a bit deeper into who'd care for their kids if something happened, there was a lot of umming and ahhing, unsure who'd be the right fit. We suggested they chat to their kids about it.

After some big chats at home, the kids surprised them with their choice. It wasn't who the parents expected. But it led to one of the best outcomes: a deeper understanding, honesty, and a whole new level of trust between them.

Estate Planning isn't just about paperwork. It's about connection. It's about knowing your people and letting them know you, too.

Start the chat now, while you've got the chance.

It's Dying to Know Day, and we're talking!

Dying to Know Day is all about opening up conversations we often avoid. It's not about fear. It's about love, clarity, and kindness.

Our latest blog explores how this national Day is helping Aussies reflect, discuss, and plan for what truly matters. If you've ever thought, "We should really sort that out one day," this could be your sign.

Is there something important, but not urgent, that's always on your to-do list?

Everyone's got that one thing they've meant to do for ages.
Clean out the garage.
Find those documents.
Start a Will.

This Friday is Dying to Know Day. It's a great time to pause and ask what really matters. Maybe it's time to give that one thing a nudge.

What's the life admin job you keep putting off?

"We thought we had time…"

We often hear this after something unexpected happens. A fall. A scare. Even a knock during weekend footy.

These moments are enough to show just how unprepared we really are. When there's no legal instruction, like an Enduring Power of Attorney or Enduring Guardian, it makes life more complicated than it needs to be.

Getting the basics sorted brings peace of mind. You sleep easier knowing your family isn't left in the dark.

It's tough to think about this stuff. But not talking about it doesn't make it go away. Talking about death won't hurt you. Avoiding it might.

Let's be honest, talking about Estate Planning usually makes people uncomfortable. It can feel awkward or morbid, like it's something only older people or retirees need to think about.

But here's the truth: Estate Planning isn't about death or what's going to happen after. It's about living well, with clarity, care, and peace of mind for whatever life throws your way.

In our latest post, we're flipping the script on what Estate Planning really means. It's not just about a Will, it's about protecting the people you love, even when things don't go to plan.
Please read it here: https://www.aditiwills.au/estate-planning-isnt-about-death-(its-about-living)

Estate Planning is less about death and more about daily care, clarity, and love. It's a vital part of living well and supporting those you love.
