We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our Managing Director, Matthew Bates, has just been named Australian Insurance Broker of the Year by the National Association of Insurance Brokers.

This is an incredibly prestigious award and we are so proud of Matthew for being named the very best in the industry.

A big thank you goes to National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), to CGU Insurance for sponsoring the award, and to our entire team, because without them Matthew couldn’t do what he does every day for our clients.

Our Managing Director, Matthew Bates, proudly watched his son place a wreath on behalf of his junior school at this morning’s North Sydney ANZAC dawn service - both wearing the family medals.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Promising announcement from the NSW Government today will bring welcome relief to home-owners across the state.

Premier Chris Minns says the proposed reform will overhaul statewide funding for the State Emergency Service. The current model means insurance prices are driven up by 18 per cent on average in NSW by this government levy.

Cover Guard Insurance welcomes the announcement and looks forward to hearing how this will reduce insurance premiums in NSW.
