Someone said "you can kiss rate cut a good bye" as the October month inflation figure has dented the slim chance of any rate cut.

I have to admit he is right. Even though RBA looks at quarterly inflation figure, rate cut is done for this year.

📌 It seems like RBA won't be reducing cash rate any time soon.

Pundits are forecasting rate cut some time next year, which is dependent on economic environment (unemployment, inflation etc).

Will 3.6 per cent be as low as the Reserve Bank's cash rate gets? A majority of economists now believe so.

📌 Few days ago, I posted an article regarding the November RBA board meeting, pundits are now forecasting cash rate hold on Melbourne Cup Day due to latest hotter than expected inflation data.

👉 The best way to approach the situation is by focusing on things which can be controlled. If you have crunched the numbers and believe you are ready to purchase your first home or your first investment property or if you are shopping around for better deals, let's have a chat.

RBA Board is meeting next week to decide on cash rate on Melbourne Cup Day.

RBA is in an unenviable position whether to cut the cash rate, which might add more fuel to the already heated housing market or hold the cash rate which may cause more pain to the economy.

Wednesday's inflation data for September quarter will be key.

In my opinion, if you have dotted your i's and crossed your t's and you believe you are ready buy a property, then you are ready.

Whether or not we're delivered a rate cut next Tuesday, there's a solid argument that the RBA should once again consider using its powers to curb runaway real estate prices.
