The Master Franchise office for G.J. Gardner Homes NSW/ACT and WA is located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and we are seeking an experienced building industry professional with strong I.T software and systems knowledge for the role of Software Systems Manager.
Responsibilities of the Role;
G.J. Gardner Homes is undertaking a software migration from a Windows based platform to a web application platform. This role will be required to support the implementation of the new software through the franchise locations around NSW/ACT and WA and as such the responsibilities are;
Be fluent in company building software and operating systems
Train and support new & existing franchisees and their teams in company software and operating systems.
Provide ongoing systems support post implementation of the software
Monitor software systems compliance across the network.
Take ownership of problems and be dedicated to providing solutions to our franchisees
Report on support issues and assist in enhancing software performance.
Frequent travel required within NSW/ACT.
Flexible working conditions. Not required to be based and work out of the Head Office Location*
Required Skills
Working knowledge of an estimating system such as Databuild, Precision, BusinessCraft etc)
Knowledge of the building industry preferably as an estimator.
Experience working in a software support and customer service environment
Strong computer skills
Highly effective communication skills
Previous experience in delivering training
Eager to grow and develop your skills set, you will be competent in the use of estimating systems and builders software and be keen to share your knowledge and experience with our franchise network. An exceptional communicator, you can work well both autonomously and in a team environment. The capability to build rapport across all levels of the business and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.
