MEDIA REALEASE – Sports Sedans Talent Search - First Practice Confirmed for this Friday 26th at Calder Park Raceway.

888 Home Loans would like to thank all the interested drivers that reached out to us since our initial media release.

888 have attempted to reply to everyone that has approached us and apologies' in advance if you have not had a personal reply.
For those that reached out for personal sponsorship of their existing cars and series we will also attempt to reply personally if not already.

The high standards of those that have applied, unfortunately confirm to us that there is a need for significantly more support of grassroots motorsport.

As you will see from the experience and pedigree of the selected drivers we have so much talent out there.

Not surprisingly, genuine talent is abound in many of the Victorian State Race Series categories including Excel, Improved Production, BMW E30’s and Formula Vee,

It has been such a difficult decision to whittle down the interested drivers to the following group;

Further to our previous media release we are so happy to introduce some (not all) of the confirmed participants of our Grass Roots development program. In no particular order Brett Porter - Brad Vereker - Toby Waghorn are all on board and others to follow (we guarantee that) . Please support your drivers by liking and the other interweb stuff that we probably don't get.

MEDIA RELEASE-



After several years investing in grass roots motor sport categories including Porsche 944, Hyundai Excel, Improved Production Racing and ultimately the expansion of its support with a long term sponsorship agreement with the Motorsport Australia backed Victorian State Racing Championship (VSRS), Cam McKinnon and the team at 888 Home Loans, have been so impressed with some of the newcomers to the entry level categories, 888 Home Loans have reached out and are in negotiation with some of those drivers.



Cam said " Our intent and focus has always been in grass roots racing. We don't have the deep pockets of some, but are prepared to assist truly talented drivers before those that just have a large cheque book"



The highly contested National Sports Sedans championship is scheduled to coincide with the Victorian State race Series as well as the closely followed and very important Toyota 86 Gazoo Racing feeder category to Super 2 and the main Game.



888 Home loans confirm they are committed to presenting a new talent to race in the National Sports Sedans event at the forthcoming VSRS round at Sandown on the 23-25th of August 2024.
