Working out your borrowing capacity is more than just your income vs. your repayments.

There is so much more to that..

Any video that says this income can service this loan, is just simply INCORRECT.

Most of these are based on a fixed salary and with no debts.

How about kids?

How about HECS debt? Most people between the ages of 20-35 years old have HECS.

Child support? Private Health insurance?

Strata?

Liabilities? etc.

This is just the surface of what is outlined in your borrowing capacity.

So any video that tells you your income can borrow a certain amount, will never be relevant to you.

So get the right advice from your mortgage broker.

Provide all the necessary documents.

And then you'll know EXACTLY what your budget is.
