Debt generally plays an important role throughout the various stages in life. Banks finance companies’ growth by providing working capital solutions plus equipment finance and they fund acquisitions and long term assets with term debt facilities. On a private level, banks provide lending products for personal finance and investment requirements. Financial leverage reduces the requirement for equit

y and can significantly enhance shareholder value for a business owner, provided the debt is structured correctly and the funds utilised wisely. Similarly, leverage through debt funding will improve the return on equity. The team at Balanz specializes in debt structuring and bank finance. We are good at this, simply because we have being doing this for many years in different capacities. Together the three founding partners (who are still spring chickens) have almost 45 years of banking and corporate finance experience. Our aim is to use our skills and expertise to “keep the banks honest” and redistribute any savings back to the client. Our debt review track record confirms close to a 100% success rate in identifying and realizing savings and other benefits for our clients. In summary, we follow a number of simple steps:

1. Recommend improvements in relation to pricing, facilities, security and covenants

3. Renegotiate with the incumbent bank to realize the identified benefits and savings

4. Refinance with another bank, if this is the preferred option to achieve the desired results
