A big thank you to Craig and the team at Porsche Motorsport Australia for the invitation to the unveiling of the 2027 Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup Car at Queensland Raceway last week.

It was fantastic to get an up-close look at the next evolution of the iconic Porsche Carrera Cup race car and hear more about what lies ahead for one of the world's most competitive one-make racing categories.

One standout feature was the striking green and gold launch livery, proudly featuring the iconic boxing kangaroo. It was a fitting tribute to Australian motorsport and a fantastic way to introduce the latest generation of Porsche's championship-winning race car.

As passionate supporters of both Porsche Motorsport and the enthusiast community, opportunities like this provide a great insight into the innovation, engineering excellence and future direction of the sport we love.

We look forward to seeing the new 992.2 GT3 Cup car take to grids around Australia in the years ahead.

Plenty of positives to take from Queensland in the BJS Porsche

The BJS Insurance Group-backed #911 Porsche GT3 Cup car showed strong race pace throughout Round 3 of Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, fighting back from a difficult qualifying session to finish P7 in Race 1 and collect valuable championship points.
Unfortunately, an electrical issue in Race 2 brought a promising run to an early end, leaving Glen Wood 13th for the weekend. The good news? Glen still sits 6th in the championship standings, and we're already focused on the next challenge at Tailem Bend.

One of the highlights of the weekend was welcoming several of our Queensland customers and their families trackside. Sharing the excitement of Porsche Carrera Cup and connecting with fellow enthusiasts is a big part of what makes these events special.

As Glen said:
"It's not the finish we hoped for, but we'll regroup and come back stronger at Tailem Bend. It was fantastic meeting some passionate BJS customers and families throughout the weekend."

Great to be part of the Pedders Level Up 2026 Conference.

Our Managing Director, Belinda Scott, joined Pedders CEO Scott Meneilly for a Q&A discussion covering the current market landscape, emerging industry challenges, the growing role of telematics, and the history behind our
long-standing partnership.

The event also provided a valuable opportunity for our BJS Insurance Brokers and Famous Insurance Brokers teams to connect with attendees and industry partners, share insights on personal and business insurance, and strengthen the relationships that are at the heart of what we do.

What a day at Sandown Park!

BJS Insurance Group and Pedders were proud to host fleet clients and insurer partners for an exciting hands-on experience comparing OEM vs upgraded Pedders brakes and suspension systems across the KIA Tasman, VW Amarok, Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.

One of the standout parts of the day was the “Effects of Weight” program, where attendees experienced firsthand how added load can dramatically affect braking distance, handling and vehicle control — a powerful reminder of the importance of properly matched suspension and braking upgrades for safer fleet operation.

The day wasn’t about criticising OEM products — it was about showcasing how the right upgrades can improve real world performance, driver confidence, road safety and fleet risk mitigation in real-world conditions.

Big thanks to the incredible Pedders team for the technical expertise, Kev and the crew at Driver Dynamics for running an awesome experience, and everyone from BJS, Famous and AEGIS who helped bring the day together.

Great people, great conversations and plenty of action on track — all focused on safer and smarter fleet outcomes .

Still smiling after a big day

At the end of our annual Melbourne Foodbank volunteer day, our BJS team helped pack 33,603 meals for families doing it tough and did it with great teamwork, energy and plenty of smiles.

We’re incredibly proud of the effort our team put in and the impact that comes from working together for a greater good. A huge thank you to Foodbank for the vital work they do every day, we’re grateful to play our part.

What an incredible day at Highball Goes Country

Our Famous team was proud to support this amazing event for its fourth year and what a milestone it was, with nearly 1,000 car enthusiasts coming together to make it the biggest one yet

More than just a celebration of cars, this event plays a vital role in supporting the Buxton and Taggerty CFA. These local volunteers do so much for their community, especially after the challenges of recent times, and events like this help provide the funds they need to keep going strong. Hearing from Glenn Ridge really highlighted just how meaningful this support is.

If you haven’t experienced Highball Goes Country before, it’s one for the calendar. A truly welcoming day out families, pets, and all kinds of vehicles are invited. Add in the stunning autumn scenery and a lineup of fantastic local food and drink vendors, and you’ve got something pretty special
