We’re excited to announce that our Debitsuccess’ parent company TSG has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Clearent, a full-service, integrated payment solutions provider based in the United States.

TSG and Clearent, both portfolio companies of Advent International (“Advent”), one of the world’s largest private equity firms and a leading investor in payments technology, are combining to create a superior global platform designed to integrate software, payments, and commerce-enabling solutions for specific vertical markets.

The resulting company will be relaunched as Xplor Technologies serving over 82,000 businesses that processed over $27 billion in payments, operating across 158 countries in 2020. The group’s offering combines enterprise software solutions for businesses in five industry verticals - Education, Health and Fitness, Boutique Wellness, Field Services and Personal Services - and a global, cloud-based processing platform that allows clients to seamlessly and securely process payments for their services.

The new company will also provide a range of commerce-enabling solutions such as CRM and loyalty program applications, online learning and training software, consumer engagement mobile apps, employee service delivery mobile apps, and billing and account management services that help businesses thrive and prosper by maximizing customer engagement and optimizing operations.

TSG and Clearent Merge to Form Xplor, a Global Platform Integrating Software, Payments and Commerce-Enabling Solutions.

It’s certainly a challenging and uncertain time for us all. Here at Debitsuccess, we’re doing our best to keep you informed of the updated ACCC guidelines relating to the fitness industry and how these ongoing changes affect your business.
That’s why we’ve created these Q&As to help address concerns you may have:

Please remember that Debitsuccess is following the updated guidelines on the ACCC website – which you can view at any time. Above all, it’s important to understand the following:

- Your business cannot take payments while your services have ceased or changed. You may only continue to charge fees (of the same or a reduced amount) to members who formally ‘opt in’ to pay them.
- Your business may be required to refund membership fees for services that you are not able to deliver due to government restrictions.
- Your business cannot charge ‘freeze’ or suspension fees while it is closed. However, you may charge these fees to members who formally ‘opt in’ to pay them.

COVID-19 UPDATE

As a result of the Australian government announcement of the Stage 1 Restrictions on non-essential activity on 22nd March 2020 (including the mandatory closure of gyms across the country), Debitsuccess has placed all gym memberships on an indefinite hold and no further payments will be processed unless you are directly advised otherwise by your gym or you are currently overdue in your payments.

If you have recently made a payment your account will remain in credit which will be applied when your gym reopens.

If you have any questions regarding the closure of your gym you should visit your gyms website or social media page or contact your gym directly.
