Loved hanging out with my amazing QAM team yesterday reviewing our strategic direction and operational goals for the next 12 months.
So much has been achieved in such a short space of time, and I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made and the energy that’s driving us forward. Excited to keep sharing the aviation delights for ages to come!
Some of our standout wins I'm so proud to share include:
- Leadership and management stronger than ever
- Strategic plan implemented and actively executed
- New museum rules introduced (what a journey!)
- Policies and procedures updated and streamlined
- New organisational structure in place and fully functional
- Volunteer numbers and morale at an all-time high
- Awarded Volunteer Museum of the Year 2025 🏆
- Income and surplus at record highs, with reinvestment into the museum at unprecedented levels
- Celebrating our 50th Anniversary. An incredible milestone for a volunteer-led organisation
- A collection that’s more diverse, engaging, and inspiring than ever
