Balista Lures Balista is an Australian lure company highly specialized for Murray Cod 🎣 Try out our LED technology for yourself and get the Balista Lures "Unfair Advantage".

Balista Lures began in 2008 from the idea of housing a flashing light inside a fishing lure. We spent years researching and refining this technology, thousands of hours were spent and continue to this day into developing new fishing lure ideas. Every lure contains a flashing red LED in the tail, the light is water activated and lasts for approximately 200 hours. This technology has been proven to increase strike rates, particularly in dirty water, dawn/dusk, overcast conditions, after dark and when fished at depth. Finding time to get out fishing is always a challenge, when you manage to get out on the water it makes sense to give yourself the very best chance of catching a fish.

With cod season closed, James has turned his attention to the trout — and this ripper couldn’t resist the Smoke 80.

A cracking fish landed from the kayak and a great way to keep the rods bent through the off-season.

The Balista Tremor — a topwater lure designed to create a strong surface disturbance with a loud, attention-grabbing action that calls fish up from below and triggers explosive strikes. Equipped with a built-in LED and vibration system, Tremor activates as soon as it touches the water, flashing and vibrating to create even more attraction and help draw fish in from a distance.

Whether you’re working structure, covering ground, or chasing that next upgrade, Tremor is made to get noticed.
