October is Cyber Security Action Month, and it's the perfect time to give your digital safety a quick check-up! 💻 Criminals are constantly finding new ways to target your personal and financial details, but keeping yourself protected doesn't have to be complicated.

Here are 3 quick and easy actions you can take to protect yourself online. 👇🏼
1. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) 🔐
MFA adds an extra shield of security to your accounts by requiring two or more proofs of identity, such as a fingerprint, Face ID, a secure pin code or notification sent to your trusted device.
2. Build Stronger Passphrases 💬
Ditch simple passwords and switch to passphrases; a combination of random words that are easy for you to remember but extremely difficult for scammers to guess.
3. Never Click SMS or Email Links 🚫
Scammers often spoof phone numbers and emails to look like they are from trusted organisations like Bendigo Bank, complete with urgent requests to click a link. Bendigo Bank will never send you an SMS or email asking you to click a link to log in or verify your details.

What a delight to start the day - scones with homemade jam and cream!
