We have an exciting opportunity for an IT System Administrator to manage our in-house information technology.

Qualifications & experience

1. High degree of customer service and can effectively problem solve “out of the box”
2. Self-motivated team player
3. Interpersonal skills to manage internal customers appropriately
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Ability to work calmly under pressure
6. The ability to ensure that customer requirements are recorded exactly as specified
7. Attention to Detail
8. Windows 10 and Office 365 strong knowledge
9. Application support including a desire to learn programming.
10. Desirable – Understanding of insurance and/or finance industry.

Tasks & responsibilities

1. Assist users with access / usage issues (reactive support)
2. When you see error logs, fix issues (proactive support)
3. Functional testing of new features prior to user release and the development of customer self-help content.
4. Work with third party vendors.
5. Provide new user set ups including emails, relevant software accounts, hardware set ups, education and other in order to get new users up to speed
6. Other technical support as required
7. Able to diagnose IT issues and resolve them quickly and effectively
8. Project management and regular status reporting of IT projects to Management Team.
