Please note the road closure details for tomorrow as the community comes together to support the Prokopec and Pendle families.

Road Closure Notification

As our community comes together to farewell a young member of our community, please be advised the following road closure will be in place from 10am to 2.30pm on Friday 2 October:

• Ral Ral Avenue, Renmark between Murtho Street and Cowra Street, Renmark
• Thurk Street, Renmark between Weste Lane and Ral Ral Avenue

To support the service, additional car parking will also be available on the Steve Poutakidis Soccer Oval, Paringa Street, Renmark.
Please plan your journey accordingly and allow additional time for travel.

As our community comes together, we are reminded of the strength, care and compassion that exists across Renmark Paringa.

We encourage everyone to look after one another, check in on those around you and support each other through this difficult time.

If you or someone you know is finding things particularly difficult, please know that support is available. Reaching out, talking to someone and seeking support can make a difference.

Look what we did!

Our big blank wall has now been filled! Many thanks to the wonderful team at Print DNA for printing these for us, and to Lincoln Matulin for helping to install them straight and centred for us!

We are proud to be in such a historical building and are really pleased to be able to share some more history from our town on our walls.

Next time you call in, have a chat with us about these amazing pictures!

Our hearts are heavy as our community navigates the sudden and deeply upsetting recent events. A tragedy like this creates ripples that affect us all — families, colleagues, friends, and neighbours.

Please know that you do not have to carry this grief or shock alone. There is dedicated, confidential support available to help you process what has happened:
🤍 Road Trauma Support: Free professional trauma counselling is available through the SA Government Road Trauma Support Page https://brnw.ch/21x5V05
🤍 Griefline: Call 1300 845 745 (6 am – midnight) for dedicated grief and road trauma support.
🤍 Lifeline: Call 13 11 14 (Available 24/7 for immediate crisis support).
🤍 Beyond Blue: Call 1300 22 4636 (24/7 mental health support).

Please look out for one another, be gentle with yourself, and reach out to these services if you or someone you know needs a safe space to talk. 🤍

This may include but not be limited to, vehicle occupants, family members, friends, work colleagues, witnesses, bystanders and emergency service personnel.
