From 13 November 2023, all businesses with an ABN (except sole traders) must use the ATO’s Online Services for Business (OSFB) to nominate a Tax Agent or BAS Agent. This process is known as Client-agent linking.

There are 5 steps which clients must work through in order to nominate an agent. This document is designed for you to give to your clients, thereby streamlining the assistance you provide them to perform the necessary steps. On a single page, it draws together a summary of what is Client-agent linking, the steps the client needs to perform and a list of available resources from the ATO and other government agencies.

You can customise and format the document as you see fit (with the areas requiring your customisation highlighted in yellow). You can then add your own branding.

Almost EOFY!

Couple of key points for consideration:
🔆 the compulsory Superannuation Guarantee Contribution amount increases to 11% from 1 July 23
🔆any Superannuation contributions that you wish to include in the 2022-23 year must be processed by 14th June if using Xero Auto Super for lodgement. Otherwise complying with the usual cut off date of mid July is fine.
🔆Payroll - STP finalisation needs to be completed by 14th July

Hi friends!

We’re in the last quarter of the financial year!! Here are some things to consider:

* Did you know that the Superannuation Guarantee amount is increasing to 10% from 1 July 2021?
