Applications are open for the COVID-19 Business Support Grants, but will close today at 5pm, Thursday 7th October 2021.

The ACT COVID-19 Business Support Grants will deliver support to businesses during the lockdown period where those businesses' turnover has declined by 30 per cent or more as a result of the COVID-19 public health measures.

Support has increased as the lockdown has been extended in the ACT. There are now a number of payments for both employing and non-employing businesses.

The level of support will depend on your business’ annual turnover.

Applications are now open and will close at 5pm on 7 October 2021.

Employers: From 1 November, you may have an extra step before you can pay super contributions on behalf of new employees.

Check if you need to request stapled super fund details from the if someone you hire doesn’t choose their own super fund.

Haven’t heard of a stapled super fund before? It’s an existing super account which is linked, or 'stapled', to an individual employee so that it follows them as they change jobs.
