First Home Buyers - From today 1 October, the following changes come into effect:
‼️ No place limits: all Australian first home buyers who have saved a 5% deposit can apply.
‼️ No income caps: first home buyers with higher incomes can access the scheme.
‼️ Higher property price caps: Perth price cap rises from $600,000 to $850,000

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has announced a long-awaited cash rate cut, lowering the rate by 25 basis points from 4.35 per cent to 4.10 per cent.

It has been more than a year since the cash rate last moved in November 2023.

The RBA board noted that underlying inflation was moderating.
