Maylands Poker League

Maylands Poker League (NLTH) No Limit Texas Holden Poker The Maylands Poker League consists of 12 rounds of no limit texas holden poker. good luck.

rules are as follows:

- a series consists of 12 rounds of tournament style NLTH
- starting stack is 10K with no rebuys or add ons
- blinds start at 25/50
- a minimum of 8 players must attend to constitute a tournament round
- only a players top 7 finishes count towards the final total score, so it is not compulsary to play all 12 rounds.
- points allocation, 1st 20pts, 2nd 16pts, 3rd 14pts, 4th 1

2pts, 5th 10pts, 6th 8pts, 7th 6pts, 8th 4 points, 9th+ 2pts
- buy ins are decided on the night but $5 must be paid by every player which goes towards the end of the series prizes.
- a prize at the end will also be awarded for the best hand of the series, the hand must be shown during game play and does not count if all other players fold. Games are very competitive and played in good spirits, all money collected goes into prizes. Many hours and games of poker can be had on the night and apart from the tournament game, structure, buy ins, re buys and add ons for all other games are decided and agreed by all on the night. All new comers are welcome, the stakes arnt high but the level of poker is, and the prestige that comes with being the bracelet winner for series 2 is pricelss.

We had 11 players for round 3 with 2 new comers, Big Will and Marko, at Richards House. Jackie proved consistency can put you at the top of the leaderboard without having to win a round. The winner on the night was Hayley who gave all the boys a lesson in Poker with a dominant final table performance. All in all a great night Happy birthday Richard.

Another good turnout for Round 2 with 14 attendees and a few new commers. Big Bird proved that slow and steady wins the race, and another consistant showing for Norman who also hit quad Jacks to take the lead in the strongest hand of the season. With a fifth place in round 2 Richard maintains his spot at the top of the leaderboard but it is early days with plenty of poker still to be played, 10 rounds remaining in series 2.

Great turnout for the first round of series 2 thanks to everyone. Ronan the series 1 bracelet winner is slow out of the blocks but a great night for Richard who not only won the first round but hit quad 8s to register that hand as the strongest hand of the series giving him a chance to take out the best hand of the series prize.
