Last weekend, FinanceWest had the chance to celebrate the end of financial year together. A successful year with personal achievements, promotions and an office move. Surprise! The RBA decided to NOT reduce the Cash rate, catching most people and economists off guard. Note: Major Banks all expected at least 2 more drops this year.
· ANZ for July & August
· CBA for July & August
· NAB for July, August & November
· WBC for August, November (& Feb 2026)

All this decision changes is the timing of when these drops are expected. They are still coming. Perhaps August & September?
