Inflation has arrived. The Sydney property market last peaked in 2003/4. Add 18.6 years, puts us at 2021/22. The peak is upon us. Highly levered property markets are about to feel the impact of soon to be rising interest rates. The future is predictable, you just need to ignore the noise and focus on the cycles.

The 3.8% rise in the core inflation rate, which excludes food and energy prices, was the sharpest increase in nearly three decades.
