Since Iron Advantage began in 2017, we have made a number of changes to our team. By now you would have learnt that Scott Collins, my former business partner has become a Fire Fighter and we are very proud of the work he has done since joining the force. We continue to support Scott’s clients along with our existing established and valued clientele. It continues to be our vision to create meaningful long-term relationships with each client tailoring their loans to meet both their individual short and long-term goals. We do this through regular contact using innovative credit solutions.

My name is Ben Cuthbertson,
I founded Iron Advantage in 2017 with my former business partner and more recently, star fire fighter, Scott Collins. The old saying, “If you love your job then you never work a day in your life” which sums up how I feel about my chosen career. I’m passionate about equipping my clients to meet their long-term financial goals. I have been married to my wife Laura for 20 years and I’m a proud father of my two boys, Christian & Asher. My favourite times are spent swimming and spending time with my family at the beach.
My name is Graeme Afek,
I have worked as a Mortgage and Finance Broker over the past decade and previously worked as a Broker across Australia’s eastern states when I was based in Sydney. I specialise in investment mortgages however I maintain a passion for helping clients achieve the Aussie dream of owning their first home. Prior to being a Mortgage Broker I trained as a commercial pilot and worked in the defence industry serving in the military as an infantry officer. I love spending time with my family. My favourite pastimes include playing with my flight simulator and studying modern history.
My name is Daniel Fatchen,
I’m thrilled to have recently joined the team at Iron Advantage earlier this year. Prior to joining, I worked as a Credit Assessor for just over 6 years at Westpac and more recently at Adelaide Bank. I’m a sports fanatic which includes almost all sports but my favourites would be soccer (EPL), Basketball (NBA), and closely followed by Football (AFL).
My name is Nikola Novakovic,
I’m told I am the definition of a “people person” and I enjoy having a good laugh. I tend to view our clients as friends rather than being defined as working relationships. I'm a massive soccer fan and used to play goalkeeper for White City FC & Adelaide City. I joined the team at Iron Advantage at the beginning of 2021 having previously worked for a franchise model Mortgage Broking business. I have really enjoyed working in a Boutique Brokerage where we tailor credit strategies to our client’s long-term goals.
My name is April Logarto,
I am from the Philippines and I joined the team at Iron Advantage as an offshore Admin Assistant in 2022 (earlier this year). I previously worked as a Pharmacy Assistant. When I’m not working, I like travelling and I love cooking Filipino desserts. I also value family and really love spending time with my beautiful one year old daughter.
