Congratulations to my old friend on the purchase of his brand new Isuzu D-MAX 🙌🏻

Following on from my story yesterday where I asked you to vote 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁 on the statement “A Credit Card balance of $0 won’t effect my borrowing power”, I can confirm this is a:

❌ 𝗠𝗬𝗧𝗛

Even if you haven’t spent a cent on your Credit Card, a lender will typically assess the total approved limit as the liability.

Why?

Credit Cards are an open line of Credit, meaning you can access those funds and “max out” this card at any time, which will then be paired with a monthly minimum repayment and interest on your purchases.

💡 If you do use a Credit Card, it’s handy to pay your statement balance in full each month to not only avoid interest accumulating, but also show and build a strong repayment history.

After completing my Certificate IV last year, I’ve officially hit the books again, upgrading to a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management.

Between the daily field experience and additional education, I’m committed to sharping my skills and expanding my knowledge, so I can better serve my clients and help you achieve great results 🏡💰

Naturally, I had to go and purchase some coloured pens and highlighters (that I’m confident the kids will steal within the next week) to celebrate my enrolment 😋✍️

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗻 - 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 ✅🏡🏗️

Nearly 18 months ago, a Pakenham couple came to us asking for help. They carried disappointment, stress and the weight of being told “no.”

After facing multiple hardships out of their control and being turned away by another broker, they truly believed their dream of navigating their financial situation and building a home for their family was out of reach.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 🎯

Instead of focusing on why it couldn’t happen, together, we focused on what needed to happen to get them there! We created a strategy, we worked through the challenges step by step, celebrated the small wins and together, never lost sight of the bigger picture.

This couple have been so disciplined and have worked extremely hard to pull themselves out what felt like the impossible; but they DID it 🌟

I got to make a phone call that made myself and the clients tear up. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 🙌🏻🥂💰

Moments like this are why I genuinely enjoy what I do. It’s never just about numbers or loans; it’s about the people, resilience, the second chances and helping families create a future they once thought was out of reach.

To anyone feeling discouraged after hearing “no” or feeling like that hole is too deep to climb out of, please remember that a “no” does not always mean a hard no, it can often mean a “not now” and with the right strategies, time and focus, we can make it work 🧩

I’m in absolute awe of this beautiful couple, the journey they’ve had, their will to not give up when it got challenging and what they have over to come to get to this point 🥹

Construction on their new home starts soon, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them and their 3 children to start this new chapter they’ve worked towards to achieve 🔑
