A bank can only offer you their products, even if they aren’t the right fit for you. A broker however generally will be able to access 40-50 lenders or more, and will be able to narrow down a bank and product that not only offer great value, but also offer the best chances of approval. Additionally, a broker is bound by a Best Interests Duty (BID), to always act in the best interests of their clients!
