Hi everyone, well it was finally time. Last Friday I took on Brisbane Coastrek! With nearly 3000 other dedicated people we hit the beach to help raise over $1.4m for mental health. Such a great cause.

I wanted to take a minute to thank all those who wished our team and I well and donated to this wonderful cause. The 30km trek certainly put us to the test but Noosa did not fail to deliver a stunning day with some stunning scenery.

A BIG thank you to everyone for supporting my efforts! Every dollar makes a difference, and this is a cause close to my heart. 💙

It comes as no surprise that the Reserve Bank of Aust (RBA) increased the cash rate by 0.50% to 1.35% at its July meeting. It is also anticipated in the market that the RBA will raise rates by another 0.50% at their next meeting in August. Many are speculating that it will slowdown thereafter but again that will be dictated by the prevailing inflation data, broader economic conditions and overall household expenditure.

Breaking news - the RBA has officially increased the cash rate to 0.35%. If you are worried about how this could affect your loan and your lifestyle feel free to reach out - as you know we love a chat.

At its meeting today, the Board decided to increase the cash rate target by 25 basis points to 35 basis points.
